Records both sides of the conversation. Compatible with all domestic telephones with a UK 431A Plug, including cordless telephones.
For connecting a telephone to a cassette recorder, minidisc or other compatible recording device. Useful for recording important phone conversations.
Instructions for use
1) Connect the RJ11 lead to the socket on the underside of the modem adaptor and connect the opposite end to the recording adaptor socket.
2) Connect any UK compatible telephone with a standard 431A UK plug to the modem adaptor UK (431A) socket.
3) Plug the supplied modem adaptor into wall socket (Compatible with Master and secondary extension sockets).
4) Plug the 3.5mm mini jack into the “line in” on your chosen recording equipment. Small dictaphones, either digital or tape based are recommended for this type of application.
5) You are now ready to record. It is advised test recordings are completed at this stage to familiarise yourself with the equipment and the recording process prior to attempting to record important conversations.
N.B. This adaptor will NOT work with digital PABX systems, digital phone systems or phone systems outside the UK. This product is not recommended for use with computer sound cards. This product is fully compatible with all UK analogue telephone systems; including PABX type secondary extension sockets.
