LevelOne is pleased to introduce PIS-3000, continue to expand its family of POE products. The PIS-3000 delivers both data and power to appliance by using existing standard Cat. 5 Ethernet cable, provides an ideal way to locate end-point devices in the preferred spots without requiring a nearby AC power outlet or new power infrastructure.

Complies with IEEE 802.3af
This PIS-3000 is compatible with IEEE 802.3af standard. The operational range can be up to 100 meter/ 328 feet, the requirement of the Fast Ethernet standard. Data transfered through Cat. 5 Etehrnet cable pairs 1/2 and 3/6, while power delivered on pairs 4/5 and 7/8.

Easy to use
The PIS-3000 POE kit has two components. The Injector, POI-2000, sends both power and data over signal Cat. 5 cable to your appliance. The Splitter, POS-1000, separates the data and power and delivers them to the the lagacy appliance. With their compact and portable design, those components can be located with minimun space needed. Plug-and-Play function achieves real hassle free installation by simply pluging Ethernet cable into your POE kit and Ethernet device.

Cost-Effective Solution
This POE kit is a cost-effective solution. It can be co-existed with original Ethernet network but eliminates the need of power cable and converter. Companies can deploy their network application such as VoIP, Wireless Access Point and surveillance system in greater availability and protect their original investment by saving the cost of expensive power installation.
